Article in The Times on Assisted Dying

The McDonald Centre's Research Assistant, Dr. Mehmet Ciftci, has had an article published in the The Times (Scottish edition) for the newspaper's Thunderer column in the comment section.

The article explains how polling shows that the medical profession in the UK is divided on the issue of whether assisted dying should be legalised. He shows that doctors who treat terminally-ill patients over long periods of time, such as general practitioners, oncologists, and doctors working in geriatric and palliative medicine, are overwhelmingly opposed to legalisation.
