Arunima Cheruvathoor
Research Centre Coordinator
Arunima joined our team in 2025. She has previously worked at the University in various roles across higher education, research, and research facilitation - including at TORCH, the Department of Social Policy and Intervention, and the Rhodes Trust.
She completed an MPhil in Global and Area Studies at St Catherine’s College, University of Oxford, in 2023, following a B.A. (Honours) in Political Science and a Diploma in Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi (both in 2021).
Arunima has also worked in India and Bangladesh across NGOs, think tanks, and the public sector. Her research interests center on gender and nationalism.
