This short film explores how Christian humanism answers the question of what it means to be human at a time when the very idea of humanity is increasingly contested. Tracing the historical development and consequences of Christian humanism, the film asks what Christian humanism might contribute to the recovery of a humane common life today. The film was produced as a collaboration between Comment Magazine, ChristianStory, and the McDonald Centre for Theology, Ethics and Public Life.
