Valentina Napolitano’s work engages with political theology, subjectivity, migration and gender, traces, borderlands and Critical Catholic Studies in the Americas and the Trans-mediterranean. Among other works, she is the (co)author with L. Bretherton and V. Lloyd of: "What is Political Theology?" 2026, Columbia UP. She is Professor of Anthropology and Connaught Scholar at the University of Toronto.
